THERAPEUTIC INTERVENTIONS
Each client is unique and requires attunement and differentiation. There is not a one-size-fits-all solution for every client. As your therapist, it is my job to attune to you and tailor the best course of action for your individual concerns. Below you will find some of the interventions that I regularly utilize with my current clients.

What is EMDR?
EMDR stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. Often, emotional distress and physical symptoms arise after disturbing life events. Using an 8 phase treatment model and bilateral stimulation, EMDR allows individuals to heal emotional wounds in the brain similar to the way the body would heal a physical wound. What is Brainspotting?
Similar to EMDR, Brainspotting is a treatment method that aims to identify and process and release neurological trauma. Somatic cues are identified and partnered bilateral sound to access the automatic, limbic, and central nervous system. The therapist and individual then work to regulate the amygdala and return to homeostasis. For a more in depth exploration of Brainspotting, click the link below.
Healing our Core Issues
From the Healing our Core Issues website:

Healing Our Core Issues is a developmental and relational trauma model based on the belief that individuals who have experienced suffering in their lives can receive relief, healing and experience joy again. This in turn creates a new experience of their life that brings more joy and fulfillment and creates deeper connections and attachments in relationships.
