GET TO KNOW ME

Ever since I was young, I knew I wanted to get on a career path that would make a difference in people’s lives. After 12 years in the field of telecommunications and another 13 as a stay-at home mom, I decided that it was a great time to start doing thinking beyond carpools and room mom duties. This year, I will have been married 24 years.

Educationally, my background includes a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling, EMDR trained, Level One Brainspotting, and fully trained in the Healing Our Core Issues methodology.  My Undergraduate is a Bachelor's degree in Social Work.

My personal interests include spending time with my husband and son, traveling, painting, and writing. I currently am a contributing author in the mental health section for Good Fat Life Magazine.

My clients most often comment that they appreciate my humor and playful personality, as well as my ability to be authentic and honest. With me, you will know that I value you as a whole and worthy person.  I respect and honor your needs, strengths, and struggles.  You will know that I genuinely care about you and your wellbeing, your life, and your relationships, as well as our relationship and journey together.

I look forward to working together!
